Hey Mike lets just make North Idaho and eastern Washington one state. What do you say. We are kind of isolated from the rest of our states other halfs anyway.

I agree a 100 percent on that Vic. We are mostly forgotten here in our corner of the world. We are much better off tho I believe. We are going to have to have another meet up one of these days soon. You and yours should come over here and check us out. Do you have a 4 wheeler? Bring it if you do and I will show you some great country.

I'm a little shy to elaborate on the V8Mercury... I think if you go off topic on the HAMB they come and take your family in the night.

The v8mercury is my 86 Capri. The mustangs ugly cousin says hotrod mag. LOL

My Slick is a 61 unibody LWB. It was all Mercury'd out when I got it. It has all of the badging (No tailgate :( ) from a merc truck but the door tag says F-F100. I'm keeping all the merc stuff, cause I'm like that. It has no engine yet, but soon a 300 I6 will be in there.

I'm doing the bodywork first...because if the project stalls that's where it will. I've recently started working on the parts I can carry. I'm working on fixing the hood and prepping it for paint. This build has been a long time coming, I have had the truck since 2000 but in all that time I only painted the whole works with tremclad trying to slow the rust till I could get to it. I'll try to post some pics. Maybe I should do a build thread. I'm worried that this whole "internet" thing will blow over by the time my truck is done though. :P

If you go off topic on the HAMB they come and install a SBC in your vehicle overnight I think. That's why I never go there anymore. Blood pressure, etc.
PS i had a 79 Capri RS. it wasn't the ugly cousin until they put that godawful bubble window on the back.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
