Josh, very interested won't be tonight- I'm unsure of the weather and I have to pull my inspection cover down and look to see if I have a greasable throwout bearing, just starting to make some noise.

I will probably call you on your cell for an upcoming Saturday.

Ok cool. There is actually a show out your way too at the Hurd auto mall in johnston that sat from 4-8. So I am game for either one, like you said weather permitting.

Oh and you know my dad?

More than likely will not be going anywhere in the near future

Because my pickup body came in yesterday woohoo.gif
A lot heavier than the original one I salvaged, but it was set up to be plug welded, I started drilling it out last night, and I was to bring it apart to my painter, but the size etc. I will surely damage the paint transporting this back and forth, I used to do all of my own painting, but my shop isn't set up for it.

Soooo, I am going to have the front and rear panels painted, assemble on chassis and drive to painter-Steve.

It should be done, the body is very heavy compared to original, 12 gauge vs. 16 gauge it has a small flaw from trucking it but I think I can fix it. I've got it upsidedown on horses assembling it [hope to have this done this week].
the painter is going to paint the front and rear panels first, then I will re-assemble body on truck and he'll paint the whole bed.
Bring it back home for final assembly
i am doing it this way instead of painting it in pieces and re-assembling as I know it'll get scratched.
I'm shooting for labour day to have it done.

I knew someone was going to pipe in, I thought it would be you too.
I'll take some tonight, got all of the supports drilled to my frame width and painted last night, got to check Gregs posts on rattle can Marlin Blue for below the floor line before I mount sides and drive to the painter.
