how far apart are the holes on the skid strips on side step

Post by ny1964 »

Hi from the land of snow and before you start 40 miles south of buffalo NY in the belt buckle of the snow belt . I am putting in a cherry wood floor in my 64 short box fleet side and would like know how far apart are the bolt holes on a step side are so when I order my skid strips I can tell them how far apart to punch them out thanks posting.php?mode=post&f=32#
if it goes it goes if it don't it won't unless the hammer is the right size .

I would think they would come pre-punched to the correct spacing.

My bed was made from scratch [orig c/chassis] I ordered 'T' bolt hidden style for mine as to not have any mistakes.

Okay, [AND I HOPE someone pipes in] if you are gonna' put these in a bed that never had them, I wouldn't think it would matter as you will have to drill holes in the bed floor anyway.{?} :2cents:
