Thanks Steve! He is making progress. Starting to be able to wiggle his toes and move his feet some. Long way to go but not where the doctors said he would be.

Steve I have had limited time due being at the hospital so much with my son as I posted earlier but I have managed to get the carrier reassembled and ready to put back in the housing. If the weather cooperates this weekend I hope to put the housing back under the leaf springs and reattached so that I can then put the carrier and axles back in sometime next week. My goal is to have her sitting on all four tires once again within the week. Thanks for asking.

Finally! Got the rear end housing cleaned, sanded and wire brushed, and repainted with POR-15 Gloss black and installed back under the frame today. I plan to install the rebuilt carrier that has a new 3.50 ring gear and pinion posi-trac unit and axles in the next few days to get the frame rolling on it's own.

Thanks! These are NOT the final wheels or tires but the ones originally on it. I have already bought steel 8x15 for front and 10x15 for rear and will put them on soon with low profile tires. More to follow.... :)

Have you been able to work on your truck lately? I've been watching for updates and pics. Just saw where you posted on Facebook about the truck bed floors. I wish someone would reproduce bed sides (affordable.) Anyway, I hope that you and your family had a Merry Christmas and also a Great New Year! Still praying for your son's recovery. Take care.

Thanks Steve for the thoughts and comments. We did have a good holiday and hope you did as well. My son is still recovering and going though spinal cord injury rehab. I have not been able to work on my 64 Slick since the last post due to his rehab support requirements. I am hoping to get back on it soon. As for the floors? I would like a good repo one and yes I think someone would do well if they made repo sides as well. Take care and please stay in touch.
