She is pretty much done now. Just the headliner and a couple of door seals to go.

Saw these on another members Slick and had to have them.

You, sir, nailed it! This has to be one of my favorite trucks I've seen.

SPark
1932 Ford 5 window coupe. 302/C4
1962 8V-390/C6 Unibody Short Bed Soon to be Big Window - The Lincoln that never was
2013 F150 Super Crew Eco Boost 4x4
2015 Ford Edge for the little lady, because she said so!
2007 Mustang GT, 4.6-3V/5 Speed. Only 8680 miles on the clock.

Very traditional. With a change of the background the pictures could look like they were taken 1961.

Nice! You can't go wrong with satin black, red steelies, chrome centers and wide whites. You nailed it. That truck is awesome. I've been thinking about painting my '64 satin black with red steelies....I believe I will now.

Well the 223 started knocking (actually been doing this for a while), so I took the opportunity of the winter months to pull it for a rebuild. Love that little six! Don't want to swap in a V8.
The 223 was a lower end nightmare. Crank is 10-10 with std bearings on the rods and 10 on the mains. No clue who the Bubba was that built this for the PO. Block deck had a .007 dip in the center. Rod bushings just about gone. That was the loud noise! On the way now to a fresh motor! Complete rebuild! 20 over bore.

Thinkin about the Clifford package too. Should be fun!

By the way I'm going to redo the interior and repaint the dash while the engine is out.

Nice now!

Definitely watching!

Rebuilding a 223 as well. Didn't want to swap for a larger engine. The 223 is a great engine.

Thought the knock was coming from the main and rod bearings......not so! Here are the bushings out of the small end of the rods #3 and #4.

Going to redo all the rubber and channels in the doors. Bought the big Carpenter kit. The doors, windows and vents are all out thanks to Foodstick's post in Hints and tricks.

That little six was so much fun to drive that I couldn't bring myself to swap it out.

You are doing a great job. I am guessing you are doing the majority of the engine build, and have connections in the industry, but what do you think a 223 rebuild would run the average consumer?. Please post your adventures with the Clifford upgrade and will you be upgrading the distributor to the 300 with EFI?
