I had a pair of rubber boots, coveralls, work gloves that Velcro at wrist, a rag on my head just to keep my hair down. A respirator, and a hood (I used the China freight one).

So the hood plastic shield would get blasted by blowback and got difficult to see out of. HF doesn't sell replacement lenses, so I went to the home box store, bought sheet plexiglass and cut new lenses to shove in there.

If I ever need blasting done again, I'm paying someone else. It was miserable. I blasted 100 % of my f100.
The months may change, but I am always APRIL

I used the hood from HF as well but overalls tight to the neck, pants bottoms, and sleeves is a must. Setting up sand retrieval area made of tarps, plastic sheeting helps with clean up and you can re use sand if you sift it first. keeping sand dry is also a must.

or at least one glove !! If you have never blasted anything be for be very careful, you can get carried away with all the removal and start to heat the metal up and can warp it and cause you a lot of work in the future or possibly ruin your piece. :2cents:
I lucked out and found a car guy that sandblasted head stones at a monument company .... did it for me on an off weekend , was a member of a local car club .
