Don't forget to check out the World's largest ball of string, and of course, the geographic center of the continental U.S.

Well we didn`t get to stay in Wichita, the roads were so confusing even the Tom Tom couldn`t work it out!, so we high tailed it to Salina where we have stayed the last 2 nights.
First night we went to the Red Lobster restaurant for Tea or dinner , well worth trying!, yesterday we went down to Abilene to do the tourist thing, saw what I thought was 64` Slick stake bed truck made by Buddy L I think, they wanted 80$ for it so it`s still there!, is that a good price?.
Last Night Colleen and Pat Weller came into town and we went to the Longhorn steakhouse for supper, great meal and company, after we went for a drive around their neck of the woods, which gave us a good insight into their way of life as farmers. Thanks Colleen and Pat!.

well we made it to Lincoln, but not without incident :x , to cut a long story short, I have not had a traffic infringement for over 27 years but the State Trooper thought I needed a warning about travelling too close to the vehical in front!, oh well! what can I say, I`ve seen how arguing goes!!. I must say those trooper cars don`t have a lot of room in the passenger seat!, maybe he had a bad experience in Alabama in the past and didn`t like my plates but all is good.

I usually get at least one ticket to the policemans ball every year. Nearly allways for the same thing. Can't seem to get my speedometer calibrated right, allways reads wrong. May have something to do with being born with lead in my right foot.
