splinters and pate

Post by 62galxe »

not going to make it till Friday night. Fell on the 18th and grabbed a 2X6 as I fell. got a splinter in my palm. It was long enough that the end of it was in my little finger.Tried home remedies then a urgent care facility. No luck. Splinter had to be removed by a orthopedic surgeon. Dr appointments on Friday. Hopefully ill make it to Chris Friday night.

Man, Kenny, that dark cloud that Dale talks about must be hangin' right up North. It's bound to move on soon! Looking forward to seeing you!

Trip back was ok. Really enjoyed seeing everybody again. Cant thank Chris enough for the Friday get together and all the work he puts in for the pate bunch. Saturday night at Sweetie Pies BSing with Gary and Chris was great. Ate to much steak and had to skip the pecan pie.

Was good yakking with you too Kenny. Glad you made it despite
the splinter incident. We had a good crowd this year and that just makes
it all worth it. Same here on all the effort Chris and Jenny put in to the
Friday night feed, and the burgers and dogs Chris and Dave cook up for
everybody at the swap meet. They both threw in on that stuff. I know we
all agree those guys make the whole thing a success and I look forward to
next year. TR
