Build your own 68 GT500KR

Post by kstones63 »

I saw this on the Hagerty news email that I get and thought that there might be some that would want one of these.

I haven't made one but I am thinking about it. I saved the file so I can build it whenever I want to.

I have a friend with 4 - '68 Shelby GT500KR convertibles. One Red, one white, one blue and one yellow. All are restored except the yellow one right now.

His are steel and fiberglass, no lines to fold on and a blast to drive.

If you ever get anywhere close to my area, let me know. We'll run over and you can touch them! He also has Boss 302, a 63-1/2 R code Galaxie with a 427 cross bolt side oiler, tons of other Mustangs and some really neat toys.

He's in his 80's, don't wait too long.
