what I like to know is how fast are the Highway patrols cars can go,, somebody coming at you at 180 by the time you get in your car or turn around they have to cover a lot of ground

#2 is the one which really impressed me! What isn't mentioned is that this is a construction zone with narrow, convoluted lanes.
Average speed is around 75 mph, double that is a bit on the crazy side!
The bike in Wise County also fits that category IMO. That is a stretch of 287/81 which will beat a travel trailer to death at speed!
A large part of our DPS fleet is made up of Chargers; I suspect the predominant Tahoes would have little chance!

"Practice" runs for the 140 mph class were not totally successful; the old "hot rod Lincoln" required so much throttle to maintain that speed, the dam air conditioner kept switching off!
