Make your reservations soon

Post by Kid »

Just left the host hotel and they told me there is another event going on at the Casino across the street the same weekend we will be there. She has us 31 more rooms in our block so you need to get your rooms reserved if you want to stay at the host hotel. I will be getting info for the overflow hotel soon if we will need it. We only have 10 reservations so far so if you are planning on attending get the call made and ask for rooms on the east side of the building so you can look out your window to see what is going on............................Kid

and make sure you tell them you are with Slick 60's or you will be told they are full

Did you say casino? Well, that changes things considerably! Guess I better reserve for two people :woohoo: !

Hey Kid,
Any updates on the itinerary or is your post from back in May still pretty accurate?

I made my room reservations Monday Feb 17.
Talked to Loretta about getting a room on the East side and she said
"We all had asked for them on the East side'',
so she didn't know if there were any left over there.
I guess if I don't end up with one on the East side it isn't the end of the world.
Had a room on the west side in 2010. Will be there Monday August 18th. TR

It doesn`t really matter what side your on, you shouldn`t be in your room anyhow!, and besides, the second shift will keep you awake if your on the east side..................

 better check my compass readings, I usually get it wrong up there!...

You will hear lots of complaints of Mosquitos and stuff ;)
But I camped here A LOT when I was a kid. I still go kayak there and sometimes just walk around the river bottoms...
Its about 7-8 miles North of Altoona, and right on the way to kids house..
