with or without

Post by Kid »

You do not need a truck to attend SlickStock. I have gotten several messages from members saying they would like to attend but their truck is not finished, ready,or some other reason. You do not need to bring a truck to have a great time and meet some of the greatest people you will ever meet. If the reason you are not attending is because your truck isnt finished or roadworthy dont let that stop you. Many members attend without trucks and there will be trucks there in every stage from bone stock to full custom and everything in between, heck one of mine probably wont have a windshield in it but it will be there
There are some Days I should not be let to go into the public without adult supervision

I took a '57 two years ago. Last year I went the week before (I can't read a calendar apparently) in my '66 but I just traded it off. This year the only way my uni could possible get there is on a trailer as a non-running sculpture. I'll be there in a 2013 slick.

You can always hitch a ride to go on the little cruises and to get to the car show. Lets you see how those different modifications, engines, springs, etc. ride in the real world.

Looking forward to meeting the person behind the screen name. Ask nice and Lance can tell you all about hostas.

But if something happened , I wouldn't hesitate to drive something else
If you can't bring a slick... Bring a valve cover racer ...
AND. A chair... A lot of chair sitting going on in the evening.... :argue:
And some people enjoy a cold beverage too. :burp: ... A cooler is handy....

I have been to all of them without a truck. I let others furnish the trucks for me to drool over. Thanks, Lyman.
