If I recall correctly, in 2012, we were in rooms on the south
side of the hotel looking out to the parking lot where the
trucks were parked. Might want to request that side when
you make your room reservations. TR

Did anyone else find it interesting that the 'pin' on the map on the hotel link in the first post of this thread is at the Holiday Inn rather than the 4 Points???

Or maybe Google has them labeled wrong?? (Looks like maybe ~8 hotels right there)

If Google is correct, it looks like the south side is the main entrance (carport)

yeah it was the Eastern side of the hotel the trucks were parked and the northern side is where the shenanigans took place..

 and that wasn't a fish pond, it was a swimming pool !

I was thinking the truck parking was south because in the late afternoon we had a lot of shade where our chairs and tents were set up! But that's been five years ago and I've slept since then. TR.

Newcomers allowed or is there a test first? I should have the 66 done this coming spring.

We were all newcomers at one stage, and you don't even have to bring a Slick... ( some abuse this a lot  ), just show up and join in, you won't regret it I promise !

C'mon, Macca, that's a loooong drive for my ol' slicks!
Might be do-able this time, though, since there are allegedly a couple Baja Texans considering the drive! Safety in numbers, ya know!

I really want to get to Slick Stock. Have been wanting to go for 6 years(actually 3).

Current stat of truck:
- disassembled
- no paint (some original, some not)

Should I just slap the fenders on, radiator back in, bleed the brakes and just go?
