got another question, i want to put a 4b carb on this engine, whats the stock cfm for my 2b now? i would like to go bigger but not too big, just giving it a little more omph!

started painting the motor today and other ect.

ummm had an uh oh with the push rods, knocked them over and they all got mixed up.... i know your suppose to keep them the way they were takin out but... how bad is it now that there mixed?

650 cfm should be big enuff
FORD, FAST, FLYING, FIRST, ALL START WITH F IS,NT THAT "SLICK"

Not that big of a deal, are you replacing the cam and lifters?

no i am not replacing them? why do you ask? the motor has 63k on it

I've heard the same thing on the push rods. I used a cardboard box and stabbed them in the side. Made sure to mark the box with front on one side so I know where the front of the motor is. You will get it right next time.

Lifters must return to their original location, but with pushrods it's not an issue........

It looks like your camera has beer goggles! ss_pokes2.gif

You will be fine on the pushrods, just make sure the lifters match back up to the correct spot on the cam.
