Has anyone attempted to put a 56 grill in a 65?
Thanks,

You got one, send it to me and I'll get it in one.
I would leave the edge of the Slick grill in place for a clean break around the opening.

I think someone has. I saw one I think not too long ago in a mag or on this site. Does anyone remember it? Elpolako had a nice truck he put a early 60s ford M? car front grill on his truck. It started with M I think , I can't remember the model. I think he cut, welded and rechromed the grill but it looked good.

There waa pic of one on here since August. It was at the all truck nationals in Carlilsle. A 65 Ford with a 56 grille. Looks great.

The only pic I can lay my hands on immediately of it is in "True Blue Fords" issue 1 page 50. I have no way to scan it .
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

You can always delete it up until someone else replies...

The grill I like... A "early" valance would look better with the signals in the grill IMO..

I had been thinking about swapping to something else also, like the 57 grille, or a 53-56. Just hard to run across one in good shape for cheap around here. Hadn't thought of the 64 galaxie grille, that looks nice in there.

Anyone else think that 56 grille makes the slick look a bit like a 57 truck?
