should I?

Post by HOOK&GO »

For the price I am not sure if I am going to be able to jump on this one yet, it is a little bit of a drive. How does this price sound for a non running truck. I would use it for the frame and drivetrain to put my 66 back together.

i'll buy the windshield if you do. lol i really need one.

i like this one better:

http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/1580804009.html

but it won't work for what you want. oh, and the 67-72 frames are the same as well in case you run across one of those.

Yeah I will not need the cab if I get it, the main bonus is the front end sheet metal. I cannot believe how many UNIs are on craigslist right now.

67-72 longbeds have a 131" wheelbase versus the 65-66 2wd wb of 129"

Well from the cab back it is a really nice rust free truck. My dad lost it on in the rain when he used to daily drive it. It has sat for a couple of years and I finally talked him into letting me take it over so I can fix it.

the cab is nice on the blue one, but it don't sit right.
i really like the 350, i wish i had the cash. same guy has a 66 f100 lwb, but it looks like the ad is expired. i almost bought that one.

think this guy knows about us, or is his use of the term "slick" just a coincidence? http://kansascity.craigslist.org/ctd/1579750723.html

i still say you can do better closer to home with some patience. that, or i'd talk that guy way down. that truck has been on there along time.

Yeah I am kinda waiting that one out to see if it drops a bit. He will not part it out and I do not blame hime for that.
It seems like everytime there is a deal I can afford it disappears before I can borrow a trailer. That happend to me with that 200 dollar truck in topeka. I know that the right one will find me eventually :)
