Record 1 day snow in Texas 11.2 inches

Post by Brian Taylor »

Not since 1964 and it was all on my truck. But even with all that snow the truck drives through it with ease. Also the snow broke a large limb off the tree in the back yard and landed 6 inches from the hood of my Integra. The limb was 9 in diameter and blocked the alley way from all traffic till the Slick pulled it out of the alley. Damn I should have taken pics.
I can not wait till the Texas weather melts all this white away so I can get to work on the interior of the truck.

Get that stuff out of there before Pate! I don't want to see Skip walking around in shorts with tennis rackets duct taped to his shoes looking for parts.

We're just getting the uppermost outskirts of that storm---about 2-3 inches maybe by tomorrow. More white stuff Sunday morning! This is the most snowy days I can recall in my 21 years in Chattanooga.

I sure am glad it went south. Tulsa has been gettin pounded this winter. The storm that came through a couple weeks ago put down some nasty ice that resulted in my right shoulder getting dislocated. I was wanting to go down to dallas this weekend and pick up my new uni before I go in for surgery. Doesnt look like thats gunna happen
You aint gunna throw that away are ya?

We got about 3-4" in Charlotte, at least my part of town. The way most act around here it might as well been a couple of feet. It is the wet and heavy type of snow, but shoveled off fairly easy.
