WOW!
Nice ride you have there.
I have a question,
What is the purpose of the piece of red tape on the steering wheel?

Cool truck I think the Slick body style lends itself very well the race look.

Nice!! What is your best time so far?
As my dad used to say, somewhere there was a horse that died a painful death from terminal constipation due to missing a key part of its anatomy.

thanks guys not real good with a computer so it may take me a little bit to get back to you guys. so anyway heres some more info on my 64. ive been working on it for about 7 years it has a mild 460 with stock 429 cj rods. stock 460 crank victor intake performer rpm heads out of the box and a 950 hp carb. im running a PA supercomp c 4 tranny with a brake and a 4500 converter. the motor made 620 hp and so far my best time has been 11.32 at 116. ive only made about 7 pases so it should have a little more left in it.

Cool Truck! Pretty fast for a slick... What is your 60ft time? My engine should make around the same HP so am curious on your trucks weight?
I am hoping for similar or better MPH but traction most likely will not allow the ET. My goal is under 4000lbs but not sure If thats possible.

my truck weighs 3727 with me in it. my 60 ft time on the 11.32 pass was 1.58 and 97.8 mph in the 1/8. the truck has some more left in it .in good air it should run in the 10.90 range i still havent changed any jets or air bleeds or timing. i have a 10 inch converter in it now and im running a 4.57 gear. and im having some problems getting the truck to hook. i"m in the process of building a 545 stroker. but thats probably a year or so away. need to get the bugs worked out first. I have some passes at the drag strip on video from this past year. It was in july and it was hot. I made 3 passes all 3 were in the 11.44range. If you want i can try and post it if i can.

alan thats a sweet 66 you have there. I use a tintable bed liner to get that look under the hood. spray it real thin and clear coat it. IT'S not hard to do and does not cost alot.

azratrod you also have a sweet ride and a roll cage for your truck would be easy. you can't buy one out of a book, you have to get it custom bent.
chris alston's chassisworks bent mine up and i have all the measurements you need if you want them.
