Frame stands interchange???

Hi guys,

I haven't been on here in a long, long time, though I read the site almost daily. I have a question. I'm buying a 65 F250 cab/chassis off a friend of mine. It originally came with a 300-6, and I want to put a V8 in it. I have several different engines to choose from in my garage, i.e. 302, 351-4V Cleveland, 460...My question is, what will be involved in dropping in, say, a 390 or a 302?Will the 300 stands fit anything other than a six? Also, it was originally a 3spd stick, but I have a 4spd with creeper that I could use. Again, how bad will this be to drop in? Thanks for any input!! I have learned SOOOO much from you guys!!! Come on SPRING!!!!!
