full door trim
full door trim
here is how i made my door trims,
i started with the spare doors i have and filled in the gaps with bondo and masking tape over the holes,
i then waxed the door were i was laying the fibreglass,
this how they come of the doors,i aimed for 1/8" finished thickness, you can see i have not trimmed them up because i laid them over my good doors to drill the door clips, check your clips as mine clips sit off centre to the holes in the door cards.
inside view of the door card
trim is finished,i covered the door card with closed cell foam and cut the pattern into it,then more clue and fitted the vinyl ,to easy
.
door trim goes upto door glass makes it look alot better.these cost me around $200aud the pair finished,Darren
