I've got that magazine at home somewhere. I like most of the ideas the guy did...in fact, he had me until I got to the taillights. :? Those things are just wrong.

Saw it in person at Carlisle, and talked to the owner. Really, really cool, though I don't like the grille, but I don't think he cares what I think.

I know a guy in PA doing the same thing, a 66' on a lightning frame, it's coming along nicely.

Yea, I am not diggin' the grill or the taillights too much myself but it is a great truck anyway. I think there will be more of this type truck in the future. 8)

:iagree: with ford man and ice
I saw the truck at gg charlotte
While I can apreciate the level of effort and workmanship that went into the construction of the truck.
:2cents: I did not like the grille or the taillights at all. They do not flow with the natural lines of the Slick and I also do not like the plastic interior.
At the Same Time it is not my truck.
Witch I'm sure there will be people who will not like it either but then again it's my truck built for me by me :D
everyone is entittled to there opinion. :D

I really like the truck. He is miles ahead with the Lightning suspension. The inbterior is OK with the "pleather". The workmanship is amazing. Many hours invested there. And the idea being not to have a pure Slick. I like my 65 but there is a place for customs too. I thank him for keeping it all Ford.

Gator, the grill looks to be from a '63. And "Stepside" is a ch@#y term. Call them Flair sides!

Awww, but I like callin' the '71 a stepside.

Also duckin' for cover after sayin' the '97-'03 interior is my personal favorite. Gauges on the '97-'98 are simple and clean.

The more rare maroon is my favorite color too.

Gator the grille will fit in any 61-66 but the 65-66 have different mounting tabs and all of them do not line up with the 61-64 holes.if you use a 61-64 upper and lower valance everything can be bolted in with all the holes lining up.
