Post by shane amigoni »

can anyone tell if their is a filler or high build engine primer. I have some small dings and dents on my powered by ford valve covers and would like to paint and reuse them. thanks :)

I suggest a cheap set of body hammers and dollys. With a little patience you would be suprised at what you can do![/b]

yeah i thought about that myself. they are just dented enough to be noticeable. i'm hoping the primer and paint may actually cover them up.

You will be suprised at what you can do! The first Harley I bought had been dropped and had several dents and dings. After pricing a replacement fender I decided to try it myself, bought a HF "quality" set of hammers and dollies, best 15.00 I ever spent.

Thanks for the link Brian. Have you used this product? I don't have a need for the high temp stuff, but the regular product could solve a problem I've been trying to figure out how to solve - filling in some broken and rusted out spots around the bottom edge of one of my hoods. Think I'll check with the local Fastenal store and check it out.
