bite me Chevy boy...or my first time down the strip

On my first weekend of drag racing the '64 and I had the pleasure of putting a tri five Chevy on the trailer in the first round, I broke out in the second round with a 14.70 on a 14.95 dial in...but at least I lost to another Mercury (Comet), he broke out too (but not as badly) tryin' ta catch me!

the weekend was a BLAST! I would highly recommend getting out to your local strip and having a go at it!

Life is good in the Blue Oval family. Nicely done. I'll bet the chebby guy is talking to himself, getting hammered by an old straight axle Ford truck.
I can hear him now.... "Where did that guy come from?"

currently I'm running a naturally aspirated H.O. motor out of a '93 Mustang backed by a T5 with a Centreforce clutch and a 4.10 posi with 285/70/15's plans for next year include a 308 with aluminum Dart heads, a re-working of the rear suspension and ET Streets, wanna get the ol' girl into the 12's!
