Grits is coming to Slick Stock

Post by Gritsngumbo »

After Brien (Bluebolt) decided to go, and then continue to his vacation in Wisconsin, my lovely wife has been encouraging me to go, but I was reluctant to spend the money as I need it for my shop and slicks. Flying is damned expensive, the train a little less so, but would take 26 hours to get within 80 miles of Altoona.
I lucked up and am hitching a ride with Fire Truck (T.J.) out of Pascagoula, MS. We're meeting up in Jackson, MS on Wednesday morning and hope to arrive there sometime Wednesday night. Thanks to Tom (36Truck) I've scored a room at the host hotel (sorry he's not going to make it). For Wed-Sat nights.
The room is a single queen bed, so if anyone would like to trade for a two-bed room or is not going to cancel their reservation (heaven forbid) let me know.

Yeah Gerald! Glad you are coming!

So I guess I will find out who snores louder, Gerald or Truckrat.

Although I gave Grits payback at Pate one night LOL.

If one of them gives you ear plugs... he's the loudest.

Yea, if you sleep in between them the noise will cancel itself out and you'll sleep soundly.

Now you tell me...guess we can always ride with the windows down. Guess I'll stock up on Beano and Gasex and hand them out like candy :-)

One night? I think we were both pretty noisy. Remember, I warned you before our first trip to Pate to bring ear plugs (which you did) but I thought the aircraft noise suppressors were a little overkill.
