This to be Longest day in history

Post by stronger66ratfink »

T-Minus a few hours,
and I've got to get the rest of the day in here at work,
then it's going to be hell to get a nights sleep tonight

but I will be up and at'um early tomorrow,
get the truck fueled up,
wash and detail the new truck, yes I'm Anil!
then go get the trailer,
pack some crap, pace around the gargage for few hours
of course adult beverages will be required,
pack some more crap,
call Skip, Max and Ruth about 10 times
pack some more crap and about 3 load the truck

go around it about 20 times with a rag
and pack some more crap
it's why I don't fly
you can pack alot of crap

and then try to get some Z's before the gang show up at 10...PM
down 20 hour energy drink
2 Red Bulls
and grab a thermos of coffee and off we get!

hope to see everyone in the parking lot by 4 on Thursday if not sooner

oh and why are we so late?
it was 109 when I went out at 3:30 yesterday

115 on the ramp at Ellington yesterday plus the humidity and absolutely no wind. You can fry an egg in your hand.

Felt like crap when I got home from work. Pounding headache and laid down for awhile. Woke up, pounding headache still. Nothing like a trip to Wal Mart and a late night Whataburger to ease the pain. I think I broke my water intake record yesterday. Guessing about 10 gallons but I probably sweated out 11.
