If you wanted you could bond (glue) some of these...

on the back and then make a peice to span the dash hole and bolt up to the studs.
This would get rid of the scews on the front of any welding.

i WOULD DEFINATELY WANT A COUPLE bbuuuuuuuttttttttt!!!!!!!!!
Both of my trucks the previous igmo cut up INTO the bend line of the dash ABOVE the radio hole, you got any suggestions/fixes for that?

Check this post out... my hole didn't go up into the bend in the dash, but it went down far enough and towards the instrument cluster far enough that I had to "massage" the aluminum plate I made to conform to the curves. I would think it should work the same to match the curves going upwards...
