Started our SS 5 fund

Post by Kid »

We did not even have stuff unpacked yesterday and Robbin told me she has put a $20 bill in an envelope for the start of our SS fund. We will be there with no doubt. If you want to go now is a good time to start putting a little cash back. As you have read it is a great time.........

Kid, do you have a PayPal account or should we just mail a check? BTW ... Amazing job organizing the event. I've done events at work similar to this and there are so many details that have to be right !!! Everything takes much longer than expected and/or costs much more.

Tim: I think he's talking about their personal Slick Stock 12 expense fund, but that's probably not a bad idea to set up a Slick Stock 12 Paypal account where we could all send money along through the two years to help fund the next great event.
Personally I plan to set up a Christmas Club type account so I never see the money and spend it on Slick parts, but will have the money when SS V comes around.
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

SS 5 is already funded. Gerry should have enough money for the event but we will probably do a few fund raisers through the next 2 years just to make sure. The members who made generous donations to the supper fund and in the silent auctions is what made the money for us to do this again in 2 Years. Hope to see everyone then

Kid, Darrel,
I know it's early to be making promises but next time if we have or sponsor a show, let me get the awards for the group,
we can have them made thru the company and I'll be more than happy to get this done for the club for free, with that said,
Still love mine I got at the Altoona days event.
did anyone else say they got a real nice 8 x 10 color photo in the mail from the Altoona chamber of Commerce?
guess I got mine last month maybe?

I'm certain a tour of the brewery is more than possible. And, as I recall, there is a bar at the end of the tour...

I believe there is a bar at the end of every Slickstock tour! Image
