i pressure washed & scrubbed every bit of dirt out of it to stop any further rust
it sits in a shed... and i never drive it on muddy roads

My slick sits in a heated garage in the winter. But in the summer she is driven at least once a week and ohmost every single weekend to all the local shows. She's treated like the "golden child". Washed weekly and waxed monthly.

My slick is in the garage waiting for me to get the heat going and start working on her one piece at a time. When she's done, she will only be used as a sunny day driver.
My slick is in superb shape but it will get even better. It won't be a garage queen but a Resto-Mod. I'm building it for me and it will get driven a lot. I won't butcher it and will keep stock parts coming off of it. I don't want to build something that I'm afraid to drive or leave in a parking lot.
I voted semi-retired, cause she does take us to church, errands, etc. But she did haul 350 lbs of horse feed home on Sunday, and 100 lbs of sand for the blaster today. Maybe I should consider her on "light duty"!
Cas is retired from hauling as long as my ass and luggage to SS4 Counts
She does sip 93 octane but does go in the rain if nessary during the trip.
Left For SS 4 in the rain
