How does your slick live?

My slick carries/pulls loads only HD trucks should handle. I expect the frame to last at least another week.

My slick works as hard or harder than trucks decades younger. But it is never abused.

My slick is retired. It only drives in parades or to car shows on sunny days.

My slick hides in the climate controlled garage until its chauffeur (enclose trailer) comes to carry it to an event (indoors only!). It also holds its pinkys up while sipping pre-warmed 93 octane.

Mine hasn't been washed in 2 years, is that considered abuse?

No wait, it got washed last night, it rained.

My slick sits in a heated garage in the winter. But in the summer she is driven at least once a week and ohmost every single weekend to all the local shows. She's treated like the "golden child". Washed weekly and waxed monthly.

My slick is in the garage waiting for me to get the heat going and start working on her one piece at a time. When she's done, she will only be used as a sunny day driver.

My slick is in superb shape but it will get even better. It won't be a garage queen but a Resto-Mod. I'm building it for me and it will get driven a lot. I won't butcher it and will keep stock parts coming off of it. I don't want to build something that I'm afraid to drive or leave in a parking lot.

I voted semi-retired, cause she does take us to church, errands, etc. But she did haul 350 lbs of horse feed home on Sunday, and 100 lbs of sand for the blaster today. Maybe I should consider her on "light duty"!

Cool thread, great pics.
