when are you going?
what route are you driving?
if groups caravan, where should we meet at?
hauling or driving your slick?

I have made reservation at the hotel for the 26th, so I am planning on leaving here on Sunday and taking an easy pace getting there. I will be driving mine. That's about as far as I have planned so far. I prefer to travel as much as possible on backroads and stay as clear as possible of the Interstate system.

Hello everyone I am new to the Slick 60's forum and I ran across the post and I was just wondering how the event went. I would like to take part if you have a SW members slickstock IV 2011 event. I look forward to getting to know everyone. I will be picking up my 66 F-100 December 28, 2010 I am like a kid counting down the days until Christmas.

Check out the Slick Stock IV 2010 thread. The next Slick Stock will be held in August of 2012 in Kansas City. (They are held every two years). We do have a "Mini-Slick Stock South" gathering at the Pate Swap Meet (America's Largest Mobile Junk Yard) at the Texas Motor Speedway in late April each year. Had about 20 spaces reserved for members this year and more planned for next. Members from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma are usually represented. Search "Pate" for more info. BTW: Welcome to the site from Louisiana.

2011 Pate Swap Meet is April 28 thru May 1

Just read a topic on the Louisana Classic Truck Club.com forum that they already have 20+ spots reserved at Pate to meet and park their trucks together for the swap meet. Sunds like they spend the weekend there and camp out.
