thats seems like the long way of getting parts, are there no part shops over there? shipping I would think would kill the cost.

it flees
It leeks?

How bad is it? Have you tried the Bars Leek? It is sort of brown looking pelets that come in a tube you poor into the radiator and warm the engine up. It well fix some small leeks. only like $10 here in the states.

Would it be more cost effective to get a new core put into the existing radiator tanks? I did that on the mustang and it was 1/2 the price. If everything else is in good condition I see no problem re-coring. Surely there would be a radiator shop that could help?

LMC were an absolute pain to order from the fist time, Summit on the other hand was a piece of cake to order from. Maybe they could help with a waterpump?

I learned a bit of German working at a West German owned plant in the late eighties. Trouble is there are not too many opportunties to use the word hundeflicker. spelling may not be correct it was all spoken not written German

Roc. Listen to Ezernut when he offers to do this for you. He's done it for several Canadians, and it is a great benefit.

Unfortunately, all the Canadians I am aware of on this board are English Canadian. Our government tried to shove French down our throats when we were kids, so now we probably know less French than Iceman. :?
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Guys.
Remember Roc is in France.
I don't think they re-core anything there except apples. LOL.
Now if you needed a head gasket for a single stick R-16 Gordini cross flow, I'll bet they're in every parts shop

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Having grown up around immigrants, and barely getting by in three languages (English being one of them) ,I think what roc is saying is that his friend will be there and perhaps is willing to hand carry parts back home.Sounds like he can use a manual as well.
I can send him some 65 car manuals that cover the motor, but that will probably cause more harm than good
