I found this program today to try different paint colors on our trucks. It was $49 for one vehicle. The only slick they have is a 64.

Kinda cool but it seems a bit pricey when they are trying to sell their paint you think they would give you the tool to check it out free in hopes you'd buy their paint. I can see them selling the program to paint or body shops.
Les Schwab used to have a similar tool with all kinds of cars and trucks you could change the wheel and tire combo on. Amazingly they had a 1068 GT/CS Mustang in the same color as mine? GT/CS cars are rare, only one year they were made and less than 4000 of them and to have one in their database that same color as mine amazed me.

I recall, back in the day when I was a kid, must have been mid to late '60s, my uncle owned an Oldsmobile dealership, and he gave me a color flip chart; probably 4" tall x 10" long, and maybe 1.5" thick. As i recall, the pages were made of a clear plastic, with spiral binders on at least two sides. There were pages with just a faint outline of the various Olds cars tabbed on clear plastic pages. I don't recall if it was multiple years or just one year. The other spiral had pages with the outline with the various available colors. You would flip through & pick a model, then flip over the color you desired. You could even do tu-tone colors. Of course the chrome was also on the outlined pages so it could be viewed as well. I remember that entertained me for a LONG while, and finally the pages started to wear out and come off. Simple tech for a much simplier time, but it worked just fine........I suspect current auto dealers have a similar tool, but instead it is a program that has to be run on a $300 laptop!
