Well in doing all the other "inside" stuff to my truck as long as I had to place in the firewall insulator, I had to take out the heater box and assembly. I never have had the heater hooked up to see if it worked, but once I took out the core from the box, I could see it had leaked some, probably why it was diconnected in the first place. I took the core down to a friend of mine's radiator shop expecting to hear that there is no longer a core available for the truck. Well I think it took all of 4 minutes after he said, "I think I got one", that he came back with one. Cost $79.00 when we were all said and done. He did have to solder the "ends" onto the new core. Came back the next day and picked it up. Here's his name of the shop and phone number in case anybody else needs one;
