Pat.
I hate anything that has to do with grease. I tolerate it, but I still hate it. And I hate anything I have to do over. Like my old auto shop instructor said, "If you don't have time to do it right, you better make time to do it over."
:?
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

Fixing someone elses mistake or bad work. Previous owners to be exact, I just had a couple hour clutch replacement turn into a 2 day pain in the accessories.

Heavy gear oil. Rear ends and Trans. You smell like it for weeks and if you get it on a shirt...it will smell like it forever!

none of the maintenance issues really bother me.
but there are little details i need to do that i have not like fix trim and headliner.guess i just procrastinated as they did not affect driving.

one thing i will say is the older i get the less i like laying on the ground or hard concrete floor. was nice to work on the big 4x4 dumptruck because i could sit up.

Lately, I've hated filling up the gas tank. For some reason it hurts the right side of my ass for the rest of the day. Same place I keep my wallet ironically.

Brakes and wiring (electrical issues) are #1 and #2 dislikes for me.

Like Brian said fixing mistakes done by others. People that thought they knew what they wer doing and getting paid to do it would work on my moms car only to have a kid that was 12 years old go in behind them and refix it the rite way and all of the 60s model ford trucks I have had,I had to go back and undo a bunch of mistakes done by others.

I like doing everything on the truck, but for me getting started is a problem. I have pretty bad Adult ADHD and to undertake a project is a daunting task. Like my interior restoration. It took me three days to start but once I did, I was fine. I struggle the same way at work. That is why I'm writing this here instead of creating a powerpoint presentation for a meeting tomorrow.

Fixing the previous owners screwups! Spent a month trying to figure out what the PO of my 65 did to the turn signals.

But on the other hand, the custom drop that the owner before him did was just short of beautiful!

Anything that will put my truck down for more than a day or two.Radiator needs to be boiled and rodded and I dread shutting it down long enough to have it done.

Max was right on it. Suspension and Brakes dirty hard work for a 60yr old lying in the driveway.
