65 Ranger Custom Cab in Ebay today?

Post by Willy_B »

It seems a little unlikely it is a Ranger. Its most interesting he put (what appears to be) his phone # in the Vin # location. Ranger or Not?

My guess is that its not. Someone may have got lucky with the side emblems at a junkyard. If I remeber the ranger had a center console, bucket seats, gas tank cover and few other goodies. If someone did get lucky at the junkyard they should have got the VIN tag, seats, console and other stuff that makes it a ranger.
its at.

Indistinguishable as a Ranger except, the readily available fender badges. My guess... uh uh. bs.jpg

Also has the inevitable overnight transformation of the 352 magically into a 390.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

I looked again tonight. The front bumper is not original is it? It looks like it came off a newer one to me.

I thought the Ranger's only had buckets and a console :hm: , regardless of what it is, it does look fairly straight and clean.

Don't understand why someone would sell something with a jimmied ignition switch on ebay shrug.gif . Oh well, it takes all kinds I guess.

Anyone notice the cancer around the rain gutter?
And the photos of the lower door pillars?

What about the left front fender I think there is a big dent there and the rust in the right rear behind the wheel. There is a guy here in the NC that has his truck on craigslist http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/328092858.html or this one http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/324443348.html
