Re: 66 f100 (427)
Side oilers did not exist in 64, the only 427 that year was the low riser center or "top" oiler. The block number he gives is wrong and it is likely a C4AE 6015-A which can be a 427 but usually is not. See if it has crossbolts. Cannot say how many times in past years I have gone and seen vehicles that claimed 427's and was just plain bullsxxx ,, even if crossbolts are visible is not solid proof since Ford did do 406's with crossbolts ++ even can get a kit doing a crossbolts,, one way I always look for is the relief valve for oil pressure on d/s side of block by the back lower where bellhousing would meet and that no other FE Motor will have a relief valve there.. not sure if on all 427's but the REAL ONES I have seen did have the relief valve
