Leith, I found my spare hook and spring!, and now I remember :roll: that I had to rig up another spring as it was broken, here`s a pic of what I did!, worked well tho!

Aha! Thats exacty what I needed to see. I was worried it would foul when I closed the bonnet. Did you just drill into the lip of the bonnet at the other end?

I ordered a new spring from DC, but might do as you have above for the RWC.

I missed this thread somehow?!?! thanks for takingg the pic though!

Did you notice I used a spring with the same amount of patina? 8)
