My next slick :)

Post by slickmainer »

I am happy to report that my next slick will arrive at the end of June. This one is a members truck but he isn't on much. Mike aka louball.

This is his build thread
http://fordtruk.com/forums/viewtopic.ph ... ht=louball

After selling my truck and a few other items, the price difference between a drive and work on project and this one was too little to pass up.

It needs headliner pieces, some bouncing gauges worked out, seat recovered, and a repaint of the gauge bezel.

I think you made a wise choice.
Since it has a build thread you could see what was done to it.
That color combination is great!

Very nice Gregg. Congrats. As I've said, one of these days I'm going to buy a running and driving Slick.

It has been a while since I have been on the boards. I was going to stop by to report that my slick was going to have a new loving home in Maine with another Slick 60's member but Gregg already started a thread. LOL! I had been dragging my feet about selling it but my wife has been hounding me since we are moving and don't have the extra barn for storage anymore. I feel better knowing that it will be going to a good home. :D

Hi Greg,
I tried to PM you but the message never gets out of my outbox???? I know you sold your roof damaged truck to someone who was going to replace the roof. I just started working on mine and I discovered the drip rails are very rusted. I was wondering if you could put me in touch with the guy who bought your truck so I could see if he would salvage the drip rail sections for me. From the pictures it didn't look like they were bent very much and would certainly be in better shape that mine! It was good to meet you at SuperSmitty's picnic this spring. You must be on your way now to get Your new truck. Hope it works out well for you. Tom Turnquist tl.tquistATgmail.com
