Archiving the old site

Post by JimDog »

Hate to see all the info on the old site just go to waste. So I've been doing a little bit of experimenting. If you have a minute, please take a look at http://www.fordtruk.com/archive/ and let me know what you think. If this is worth doing, I will see about grabbing the other forums.

Please give me feedback on what I can do to improve it.

Wow! That is awesome! One thing that might be good is to catagorize the articles in some fashion, like engine, transmission, chassis, body, wiring or the like. Even at that I realize that there are sub-catagories too. Sounds like a lot of work!

Great job!! I'm afraid you have the advantage as I can't think of anything you're not already doing. Didn't know you could do that. Awesome!!

Speaking of saving stuff from the old site, is there a way to move pictures from my album on the old site to the new site? (I mean other than one pic at a time)

Awsome...

Catagories would be nice, but not needed right away. I would get it all and then catagorize it.
