Junk Yard Trip (PICS)

Post by fordman7072 »

I went to a junkyard today called John's Auto Salvage in Cabool Mo. This place was HUGE!!! Me and my dad walked it for over 3hrs and didn't even see half of it. The old guy and his son they run it and are really nice guys to deal with. I went there lookin for a steering column found a few but this place is so huge and has lots of trucks and old iron. I didn't get many pictures but I plan on making a trip back soon to walk around and take more.

That kind of yard amazes me..nothing like it here anymore.. Its like some mad collector couldn't pass up a single cool old vehicle...

I always picture this type of yard as off limits.. and not interested in selling anything.

Hey fordman, which of the sons did you talk to? I've dealt with Jimmy in the past and he's lots easier to deal with then the old man. But it seems they're relationship is off and on and when Jimmy's not around, the deals aren't near as good. Just curious.
