Here's a before and after shot of what the engine bay looks like on "Big Un", my F250 Long Flare. This truck was bought as a parting out truck for parts to use on my Crew Cab, but my wife and daughter liked it and wouldn't let me take it apart. Glad now they prevailed.
Even took the hood off and washed the underside with Purple Power and then waxed it. The original paint still looks pretty good.
Y-Block with dual Smitty's. Sounds sweet. Started on the engine compartment redo while waiting for cash and parts for the brakes.
Having a vintage style sign made for the doors:"Grit's Slick Shop". Plan is to leave the exterior patina. Big A** 8 lug 16's. Have powder coated Argent "Big" Innies, but like the open lugs also, so can't quite decide.

Sure thing Brian. I'll take care of your engine bay while you paint my truck
