Nice '62 Uni at World of Wheels in Calgary...

Post by qwertyd10n »

Hey all,

I went to the World of Wheels car show in Calgary and stumbled across a pretty nice '62 Uni buried in the back corner. Talked to the owner for a while and he told me some of the specifics of the build... nice guy. Asked if he had ever heard of this site and he said no, but that it probably would have been a good resource as he was working through everything. Anyway, here are some pics to wet your whistles...

Love that colour. Did he happen to say what it was (i.e. if it was a factory colour or a custom mix)? Or what the bench seat was from?

No, we didn't talk about either of those topics... he was keeping a pretty close eye on all the people swarming around his truck and I was minding my two year old - both concerned about our babies in completely different ways! :)

Gregg, my guess is that those are not really the inner fenders. They are covers over all of the wiring and hoses.

That is a purdy truck but I have to agree the fuel cell just looks like an afterthought with all the work that went into that truck .
