Automotive Switch Rebuilding

I have been searching, with no luck for a cruise control switch for my old Celica convertible. As there are none on the planet, do you know of anybody that rebuilds automotive switches? It looks like something was spilled on the switch and the circuit board fried. Thanks!this switch is on the console, under the e-brake handle and right next to the cup holders. Not a great location!

I have an old friend here in Houston that used to own Acorn Foreign Car salvage. His name was Mike Hughes. I don't know if he's still the owner, but Acorn is still in business. What made Mike special is he understood the value of "special" cars. Call and ask. If they don't have your switch, they will be the most likely folks to know where to get it.

It is a 1989 Toyota Celica GT Convertible. 3sFE engine. 5 speed. I drive this car between my home in
Fort Worth and my home in San Francisco. I do this drive every 6 weeks and let me tell you it sucks without the cruise control. The car is a blast to drive and will touch 40mpg on a good downhill run!
If you could help me find a switch, I would be really happy, (case of beer, happy)

Find a wiring diagram and see how it controls the cruise. You may be able to rig a generic switch up.

I have a factory manual, but it is way beyond my skill level. There are six separate functions on the switch. One to shut down the cruise for the brake, clutch, e-brake, and three others for the remaining functionsl

I wouldn't go to the trouble of putting a new one in for this price if it were me. And that is IF you could find a good used one.

Wow, Thanks. Yeah $225 is a lot of coin for a switch, but I just got back to North Richland Hills today. After a 31 hour drive with no cruise, I would have paid it today! I dove through hours of rain, hail in Bakersfield, snow in Tehachapi, and got my friggin car sandblasted in Memphis, TX.
