The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

any pics of 66 grill in older body?

Post by dotcentral »

Don't know the term, upper valence maybe? piece between the grill and the hood. It has been smacked hard on mine, grill is good still (other than anodized coating is a little hazy). I have a straight 61-64 style piece. I was thinking about swapping them out and looking around for something else for turn signals. Has to have been done before, a 65 or 66 grille in a 61-64, or that piece put in a 65-66 truck. Anyone got any photos?

Guess besides turn signals, I need the different rubber hood bumpers. Anything else? do they have the same mounting points? Thanks in advance.
