I had sold my 62 SWB 429/C6 to my buddy Glen. His plan was to slam it and clean it up some.
He ended up selling it to a guy who did some of the bodywork and reshot it bright white.
It looked like a scuff n spray but he fixed the tailgate and steps.
My buddy sent me this pic from a local car show a minute ago. The guy had my truck in the burnout contest.

on the upside you may be able to get her back real cheap with a shot mill!
I think you are capable of getting a decent 385 going for it.

That really sucks.........But, as they say "You can't control what you don't own" There will be another one for you bigger & better!

Last thing I need is a 429 rebuild + all the stuff it needed before + Sanding off the guy's crappy paintjob.
