Salvage Yard Jackpots

Post by ABA »

A friend of mine told me has brother-in-law who runs a salvage yard just got a '65 F100 in so I went check it out.
Truck is in very good shape, too good to be in a junk yard even.
It's a 6 cylinder truck with fresh paint on the engine and a brand new carb. setting on it.
Even has power steering. :o

Anyways, I didn't have $700 for the whole truck so I got everything else I could use off of it:

A very straight and rust free hood
hood hinges
chrome front bumper (excellent cond.)
window cranks with knobs intact
covers for that square hole in the kick panels
door panels with all the scews and clips
door striker plates (both sides)
left side air vent assembly
chrome headlight bezels

Total price for all of the above: $100.00 :D
Oh and 2 free Beer koozies also came with the deal 8)
'01 F150 Lightning
490RWHP
Gas Mileage? What's that?
