since slicks are 60's , here is the link to the appropriate world class international airline "trusted" to take our esteemed Australian delegate, and his lovely p.a. to SS 5 summer olympics.
I note he is the underdog in the beer drinking event , but , we'll back him in a a short priced favourite to bring home the gold medal.
Do you guys have a copy of our national anthem to play and our flag to raise when he brings home the goods at the end of the event...

just move the curser back to 1960 and let the commercials begin , click on the " change channel" button on the tele .....for the style our Australian delegate is accustomed too.
He is on commercial no.3 , bweauty mate !

Really wish I could make it. I started in new job 6 weeks ago and will barely have enough time accrued for my October vacation.

well "spotted" ezer.....

too right ! mate...along with
P.A., stubbie holder , sunnies , blue singlet , the hope of his nation to do well and of course, thongs.

Qantas is after all the " official carrier " for our Olympic team to summer slick olympics.

After a consultation with the olympic selection committee ,
May we ask for the SS 5 events board , to consider our esteemed SS 5 participant ( if he will ) , take the challenge and proudly represent the land down-under and enter the "Thong" event.

As per his dedication , you will note , from his previous correspondence , his team is actually arriving early for acclimatization of the local conditions.
Thus, The Australian Institute of Sport , has ensured that our athlete has undertaken "High Altitude " training to help "polish" the teams skills in the anticipated tough competitors that await .
Two years of "Peachtree" training hang in the balance , not even , flood water , has deterred our participant.

John I will be only too happy to take on all comers in the "Thong " event!, I was narrowly beaten in this event at the 2002 Golden Thong races at Wattle flats, most say he cheated!
Ezer I did not know you par took in the swlling of the grape juices!, and may I add that the bloke with the sheep is not and has never been an Aussie!, although we love his humor!, he is still a Kiwi!. and if we do go swimming, I`ll be wearing me cossie!

Alan,
I think I sponsored that bronze thong event that year....and also the sheep dog trials down at Trunkey creek....
Did you get a runners up trophy ? gee you missed out on legend status.
Better make amends at SS5 Summer Olympics then.
No pressure , all of Australia is depending on you ....
Here's hoping that " High Altitude " training (provided by Qantas ), gets you over the line in first place .... we expect a you tube recording of the event .
The countdown begins.......

John, a mate that was working at Winford at the time, he also went well in the event!, there were about 50 of us that showed up a bit late in a huge coach, and everyone turned to see what was going on!, well the first 6 people or so, stumbled getting off the bus and ended up in a pile!!. Yes the "Peachtree Hotel social club " has arrived! and the decorum went down hill from there!  . what a great day!! :burp:

I will do some trainning on my grip, the last thing you`d want is to drop your thong in a competition! :cussing:
