Re: Mustero??????????
I like Mustangs and Rancheros but that is ugly! If you wanted a cartruck in 65 you could get a good looking Ranchro or even an Econoline, and for the price of that conversion you could also get a Mustang!

I must admit, I don't recall hearing about these.. There was aguy in my home townthat had a brand new Cadillac fitted out this way through some dealer conversion option. I guess just a few of those were made also.

Re: Mustero??????????
The cars are neat but the info on the web is bogus and has been copied over and over. The Mustero was built by Beverly Hills Mustang but not in 65/66 time frame. The articles note an interview with a guy who worked there and he noted that they used restored 65 and 66 Mustangs to build these. Why would they use restored cars in 65 and 66? I remember when they were selling these but my brain can't tell me exactly when but I think it was the mid 80's. s far as I can find, Beverly Hills Mustang did not even exist until the late 70's. I sure wish people would pay more attention when they copy and repost info. If they did there would be a lot less bogus stuff out there. Hawkrod

Well, lets just all go out and get some of those hats that look like a bowl of fruit and wear them while we drive our Slicks around.
