Since your title deal is that easy I would go for it!

I've raced 351W based motors in circle track for the last 20 years and nobody I know of is running an actual production Ford head anymore (351N and 352N heads are Ford but actually cast by aftermarket sources and were never production heads). Haven't for years. Same for drag racers, I don't know of a single serious one that is running a production Windsor head with the exception of some really bucks down guys using the GT40/Explorer style heads since it's all they can afford. RHS, Dart, World Products all offer iron heads that are a better starting point than any stock Windsor head can reach with big bucks spent on them. Just not worth it anymore with what is out there. I'm not saying you won't find somebody that thinks it is still the way to go, I just wouldn't base my purchase plans on making anything back by selling them for "big bucks" as you originally commented. If it happens, it would be great, just not likely. Don't mean to offend.

With the easy title deal there, and the outside chance you may have a buyer for the heads, sounds like a no brainer to me. Buy it and enjoy it.

For 600, you really can't go wrong. There has to be that much in parts and scrap.

This is how my project started.

Do it.
