New guy in north ATL

Post by Pasturepilot »

Hey guys,

I'm looking at picking up a slick.. but I haven't been around them much at all, just drooled over one in passing in a parking lot or two. Anyone mind giving me a walk-around of their ride to point out some of the trouble spots? I'll even bring a tool bag, a six-pack and help with a project if you're working on something. I'm in Sandy Springs, but can travel a little bit.

Thanks!

Hey J, welcome to Slick 60's.

I'm right up the street across the river in Historic Roswell. I'd be glad to show you around my truck and show you the ropes. I won't be around this week but will be the next. I might even go to Caffeine & Octane on the 7th.

Welcome, I'm just down the road from you near the airport. I would be glad to help if I can.

If you're looking at a uni, I can show you all of the rust on mine which is everywhere you don't want it on a unibody. Looks good on the outside, though!

Guys, thanks for the warm welcome. I'll shoot PMs to y'all and try to meet up soon. I appreciate it. Danny, I'm an airline pilot now, but for years I lived on a grass airstrip, where certain parts of the runway were often unusuable, depending on the neighbors' cows' grazing habits. Hence, the name.
