Driveshaft

Post by 292fan »

Hi, I have a 65 F100 shortbed. Originally it had a 352 with 3 on the tree. I have since put a 390 in and moved the shifter to the floor. I am in the process of installing a C6. Not sure the application that the trans came from. Question is if there is a truck or car driveshaft that is a direct bolt in for the 390 C6 combo? Thanks for your help and time,

does the trans you are using take a bolt on or slip yoke driveshaft?

if its a bolt on one from a 65/66 shortbed w 352 auto should work.

Iceman, it is a slip on yoke, and thanks for the encouraging news!
